Piper's Kilt is such a cool old school New York bar for Tour Bus NYC travelers. It's got that old fashioned neighborhood bar feel that everybody loves, and it also happens to be a fantastic music venue and karaoke bar! A little bit of everything under just one roof. We highly recommend the Manhattan burgers and the Eastchester burgers too! So good! The drinks are always good and cheap and yet they're nice and stiff, never watered down. The happy hour prices make them even cheaper, if that's possible! Karaoke night is Sunday. Don't miss it! Located in the Marble Hill and Inwood area at 4946 Broadway, New York, NY 10034. Guadalupe is a Tex-Mex steakhouse that Tour Bus NYC partygoers in the Marble Hill are just adore! We love the vibe here and the cool decor, with the high ceilings and billowing curtains. The prices are in the moderate range here and you will enjoy such favorites as a steak/lobster/shrimp combo (our top pick!), seasoned churrasco, and of course a nice tall glass of mango sangria. You might also want to stop in for their prix fixe brunch, and any day, your dessert simply has to be the tres leche! Oh, my! Located in the Marble Hill, Washington Heights, and Inwood area at 597 W 207th St, New York, NY 10034. Call (212) 304-1083 for info.
District 12 is a two-level steakhouse and gastropub that really succeeds in having it all on just two floors. They've even got an outdoor dining area, which gives you a total of three fantastically comfortable spots to hang out. Downstairs they've got the sports bar vibe with flat screens for the big game. You'll want to try everything that they've got to offer here, including all your classic bar fare and an amazing array of beers. Take the brewery tour or just hang out and enjoy the ambiance. In any case, you'll fall in love with this place. Located in the Marble Hill, Washington Heights, and Inwood area at 4892 Broadway, New York, NY 10034. Call (212) 304-1700 for info.
Thai food lovers who are traveling with Tour Bus NYC in the Marble Hill area have got to check out Siam Square! They've got the best Thai style street food around, making you feel like you've escaped to Thailand itself! The green curry is one of our particular favorites and we're in love with the mango sticky rice when it's in season. Our three favorite dishes here are the ped sam ros duck, the tod mun pla, and the yum kun chaing. Not very late hours here, but it's worth the effort to get there early! No full bar, but a nice selection of beer and wine. Located in the Marble Hill area at 564 Kappock St, Bronx, NY 10463. Call (718) 432-8200 for info.
If Japanese fare and sushi plus a good smattering of Asian fusion dishes are right up your alley, you will certainly want to check out Hashi when you're traveling with us. We like the lively atmosphere and the good music, and the incredibly creative rolls that they serve here are a major highlight! The ocean island roll is our top pick, but even the traditional California rolls are enough to make your mouth water. The gyoza is a great appetizer. The cocktails are noteworthy too. Cozy ambiance and trendy as well! We couldn't love this place more! Located in the Marble Hill and Inwood area at 5009 Broadway, New York, NY 10034. Call (646) 837-6891 for info.
