As you well know, the Fordham area has a huge amount of tantalizing classic Italian restaurants. Antonio's Trattoria is one of them and it's very highly recommended when you're around here with Tour Bus NYC. We've often recommended their crab meat stuffed calamari and their deliciously classic clams! The chicken sorrentino is another classic dish that you are certainly not going to want to miss and how about that margherita pizza? The meatball appetizer is another good one that always comes to mind. There are mulitple televisions here in case you need to catch up on the game and for ticker watchers!

Another one of those unbelieveable expriences awaits you in the Fordham area, Tour Bus NYC partygoers really love this spot. The rustic ambiance is what made us fall in love with it at first sight, but the food is what made us stay in love with it for so many years! Our beloved dishes include the meat balls with polenta, the pasta al forno, and the Riccardo pizza. The margherita pizza is amazing and the diavola is also superb. There is a full bar here and they've got free wi-fi and television too. There's no outdoor seating but they do have beautiful skylights. Romantic atmosphere!

Another Italian restaurant that we have just gone wild over is Roberto's. Our Tour Bus NYC customers seem to feel the same when they visit during their Fordham trips. This is one of the pricier ones, but believe us when we say that it's worth every single dollar! The penne with smoked mozzarella and eggplant will absolutely blow your tastebuds away! Wow. We also love the scamorza affumicata, the parmigiana di melanzane e zucchine, and the chilean seabass marechiara. There is a full bar here, and nothing distracting like TVs or loud crowds.

Our final Italian restaurant on this list, Michaelangelo's Little Italy gets a whole lot of love from our tour bus customers. They always rave about the pear salad, but our personal favorite is the hot antipasti with eggplant rolatini and fried calamari. Talk about a gourmet feast! The stuffed mushrooms are a classic choice here that we never leave without ordering. You'll find that they've got a full bar and great happy hour prices, plus beautiful outdoor seating and even televisions in case you need to take a peek at the game while you're dining.

We hear you... "Do you mean to tell us there's room for a Mexican restaurant in this area known for its Italian restaurants?" Indeed, there is! Hector's is an absolute gem. This is a fresh and funky lunch stop where you can order up some really unique items. The chorizo gorditas are a particular favorite of ours. We also like the carne asada version of those! You'll definitely want to sip on an icy cool papaya and mamey milkshake alongside that lunch or dinner, or perhaps take it to go as your dessert! No full bar here, but they do serve beer and wine.
